A little easier to identify than the one in my last posting.
However, like the last post, this perspective doesn’t do justice to the beauty of the aircraft. But how often do you get the chance to stare eye-to-eye with something this size? Sitting in a cubicle working on spreadsheets, even if in the same industry, just doesn’t have the same visceral impact of working around these beasts.

It’s a Star Alliance plane, I can tell that much.

And that’s really the only identifying mark, so guessing the carrier would just be a semi-random crapshoot (how many Star Alliance carriers ran 747s in 2009?)

That’s funny, because the only 747 I’ve ever flown on was Air New Zealand’s many many years ago.
